I purchased some Advans used and according to the company I bought them from was told that the clear coat was coming off of the polished lip and to remove the clearcoat and reclear it... That wasn't a big deal cause the car's in the paint booth already...

Upon receiving the wheels, it seems like the wheels are pitted, almost like salt corrosion. I need to find a place in the southeast (to save on shipping) that can take the clear off the wheel, refinish/polish the lip, and reclear it for me relatively cheap. I've called a couple wheel shops and I'm being told that the whole wheel will have to be redone and cost me $200/wheel. I've polished my manifold and intercooler and pipes by hand and don't want to have to do that to my wheels also, it's rediculous how much people are charging for a lip. Any ideas or contacts? Thanks a lot.
