Wheel help, please help me out
Ok, so I've been looking at these wheels after seeing them on another rx7 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-HP...spagenameZWDVW) and I was wondering if I'd be able to fit 245's in the front and 275's in the rear with any problems, meaning will the wheel fit fine in those tires and will that size tire fit fine on my 94 FD?
# Front Size: 18" x 8.0"
# Rear Size: 18" x 9.0"
# Pattern: 5x114.3
# Lip Size: 2-1/2"
# Lip Size: 2-3/4"
# Offset: +38
That's all the information on the wheels, they suggest a tire/wheel combo of
(2) 18x8 HP Racing HPR5 5x114.3 Black Gloss
(2) 18x9 HP Racing HPR5 5x114.3 Black Gloss
(2) 225/40/18 Hankook K104 Z-Rated 93Y 280AA//A
(2) 265/35/18 Hankook K104 Z-Rated 93Y 280/AA/A

I think you'll have some rubbing problems with a 245 up front at a +38. Stock 8" wheels are +50. I would also not go more than a +2 size between the front and the back (i.e. 235 up front, 255 in the rear).
Looks like some nice wheels though.

My ideal would be 235's in the fronts and 265-275's in the rear, but the wheels that I were looking at before were 8.5 and 9.5's so those would fit better, I just don't know if 8 and 9's are too small to fit such big tires on them.
