what are some good tires?

im about to pick up some 5zigens so i need to wrap them bad boys with some serious tire.

what is a good tire for street preformance?

i heard the nitto 555's were good but they say there for drag and i want to carve some canyons and drag. Whats the best bang for the buck now days?


17x8 35mm front

17x9 20mm back

on a tII FC 87 soon to be coil spring setup.

Ive had experiance with the yokohama es100, kumho mx and hankook rs-2. The best grip and response is from the hankook. Its very cheap vs the kumho and new falken rt615 and has comparable grip levels. The es100 is not in the same league as the mx and the rs-2...therefore i recommend the hankook rs-2.

havnt heard about those hankooks unless those are the autoxing ones?

but the toyos are excellent for the money. and MX are the excellent budget tires.

bang for buck = hankooks, but that is from an autocrossing perspective.
