Any thought about those?

Of course. I've thought about them many times. If I could locate a used set at a killer price, without a doubt I'd sport them.

POM HB,
they are from the same company however these wheels are made completely different than their seven mod and others. the wheel pictured is the seven 3piece and is usually made for ferrari, porsche, etc. Ive been picking up wheels from them for almost 3 years now and ive seen some ridiculous rides, such as ferraris, over there. what makes that wheel so much better is the fact that it is a true 3piece and is custom built for each application, hence the high price. if their "seven mod" wheel came in a wider 18" i would have them in a heart beat. i think its photochop time!

im saving up for some BBS wheels....
RGR or RSGT, cant really decide, but the rgr is cheaper... LMs are pretty cool looking too but they are like $1k a piece.

im thinking gunmetal, or just some kind of dark, but shiny, color will look insane on my car.

love the thin cross spokes, and if one more person tells me to get ADR lookalikes from wheelmax im going to shoot them.

I like the FN01R-C rims. Them in 17 inch with a gunmetal color would look pretty good on my red I think

Also,

I really like ADR msport. Paint them black inner section and you'll get bad *** looking wheels. Still, will look cheap close-up. Care to argue anyone w/ real world exp?

KaizoRX7,

What are yours? Look really really sweet on the car!

There are so many wheels that look so good, but won't work w/ certain cars. Yours are NOT!

EDIT: I meant they look good w/ your car.

My fd is red and it has gunmetal Volk Ce-28 with the limited edition polished silver lip on it. I'm running 18x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 in the rear. I'll try to get a pic up. They look awesome and even though they are two inches taller and average an inch wider, I havent noticed any differences in acceleration from the stock rims. I do get more grip though Launching is fun. And in my opinion, they are very nice looking. The only downside is the friggin price.

For the price...its hard to beat the 5zigen or Racing Sparco's. Pretty darn light for under $240 each. Enkei is right in there as well.

I find it pretty damn amazing some of the wheels that have been mentioned in a thread titled "BEST wheels for an FD".

ADR? Sparco? 5Zigen? Not even worthy of being mentioned, although at least the 5Zigen FN-01RC and Sparco NT-R are decently light.

To me, this thread should be containing wheels from SSR, Volk, Fikse, CCW, and others of like quality.

G games are made by Ray's Wheels, that doesn't make them Volks. Honda makes the Civic and the NSX, are they the same thing?

I was going to say the same thing a while back. It seems like it's turned more into a "what wheel looks the best on FD" thread. Trying to find the best wheels for a FD and no mention of weight/actual price/tire sizes/ etc. Amazing. Someone mentioned RE Amemiya wheels and how they're the greatest because they're made for the rx7. Well can't be too great, Amemiya uses enkei's on all his race cars. Wheels that I feel should have got mentioned or some of what I would've thought would be in this thread from the title:

CCW
Enkei RPF1/RPO1
Volk se37k/ce28n/etc.

Instead someone says OZ mito modular's...

Little did I know ADR's are actually one of the best wheels for a FD.

Its hard to define best for anything, much less something as subjective as wheels.

For me, I decided the FN01R-Cs were "best" because of the weight to price ratio. Ask me again in 6 months, and my opinion of "best" will have likely changed.

I agree however that when price is less of an object wheels like CCW, some of the Volks (styles I don't care for), SSRs, and Fiske are higher quality wheels.

I agree. In fact I was looking at the FN01R-C's myself. My only dissapointment was that the "hyper black" colored, are supposedly very black at all. Might actually still end up going with them but that's besides the point. But IMO I would say one of the "best wheels for a FD" because of their low price and their low weight and a 18x9.5 fitment.

All I was trying to say is that people were naming "what the best wheels for a FD" were without any explaination as to why. I guess my whole problem was some people think what "looks good" or what's "jdm" is the best for a FD without any talk of price/weight/sizing/etc. I think this thread started off on a good foot, but ended up just being people naming wheels they like. I'll get off my soapbox now.

Well, you could say that the FN01R-C is the best wheel in it's price class, perhaps, but you understand my point?
