Toyo Proxies T1-S

What is the overall consensus on these? Good..Bad.. how do they match up against others.
I have been hearing some really good things about them.

I agree, very sticky. I just got mine back in May. 245/45/16 on stock wheels. Much better handling than the SP8000's they replace and they bark loud real loud.

If I were shopping right now though, I would look at the Bridgestone Pole Position S02's - they're on sale now since the S03 just came out. Jack

The T1-S is the best street tire available. You will especially love them were you live due to the extraordinary cold weather grip. Buy them and smile every day you drive on them.

The Bridgestone's are discounted now at the Tire Rack. This months Road & Track ad shows PPS02's 245/45/16 for $151 ea. Much better than $225 a few months ago. Check tirerack.com for prices and availability.

As for Toyo tires online. I bought mine from Wheel Warehouse (www.wheelwarehouse.com) for about $160 ea. 245/45/16 with shipping. I didn't buy them off the web site though. I called and dealt with a guy named Ziggy Klein.
