tires size?

what is the widest tires i can fit in the rear of the 3 gen FD? i'm getting a set of the GTN 18x10, will 295 fit in the rear?

You should use an 11-inch wide wheel with a 295 section width...

I think a few people have been able to fit 305 or 315 tires in back with M2 trailing links (more room for wheel backspacing) and you might also need smaller diameter springs like you get with a 2.5" coil-over setup. Proper wheel offset will be key.

What 295s are you specifically considering? I've got 285s all around for race tires and they fit fine. I bet you could go wider in the rear.

sleepR1, i ran 275 on my 17x9" rim before, i think 295 will be ok on the 10" wide rim?
maxcooper, I have the JIC flt A2 coil over system. i plan to on the BFGoodrich TA 295,35,zr18. what do you think? is there a better brand out there for the street?
