Tire size: 17x9.5/18x10.5???

Is this the ideal Tire size for 17x9.5 +28 front/18x10.5 +22rear combo:

265/30 front
285/30 rear

I tried using the JimLab excel file and I am just confusing myself.

94 RX7
Feed front fenders
Burnout rear fender flares

TIA, Luigi

You'll have difficulty finding 30 or 35 series sires for 17" wheels. Any reason you went w/ 17" front and 18" rear wheels?

For that setup, I'd run a 255/40 or 265/40 front, w/ 285/30 or 295/30 rear.

you could fit a 275/40 up front, but it's going to be alot taller than even the 295/30 rear.

Wheels are TE37s. And I meant to write 265/40 not 30, that was my mistake.

Looks like it's time to redo my spreadsheet and make it a bit simpler.

Exactly what Ptrhahn says....adjust to match up with the sizes offered by tire model of choice.

Just recieved my wheels (pictures by vendor):

(I'm thinking out loud, but would still like to know if this is correct):
When considering purchase of tires, isn't it important to to have the diameter of the front/rear wheels as close as possible? With that said, and according to Jim's spreadsheet: 255/40/17 and 295/30/18 are the closest combo. The only thing that may effect this decision would be the offset and how close it comes to the fenders (Feed front/Burnout rear).

You can have small variances....I'm assuming you have coilovers to adjust the ride height? 255/40s would be a great fit up front.....265/40s would have less understeer with those big rears.

Some people care about performance, not if it looks sexy to you.

I do have coilovers (Tein HA). It is very difficult to find 265/40-17 tires.
