Tire Review: Falken Azenis RT-615

So far at 1000 miles they have performed phenominal.

They don't grip as well as a A032r that I had previously, but they do grab slightly better than the Potenzas that I had.

What I like about the Falkens is that they are quiet when compared to a A032R.

Also, at the limit they will give you sufficient warning when they start to break away. Not a grab and snap like a Potenza.

I'll update as the miles increase.

Oh, and at $160~ for 255 and 275 40 ratio on 17" this is a great price.

That's what I'm running in the same sizes now, too.

The 255/40-17 fronts seem to be a pretty good match for the 8.5x17" +40mm wheels -- they don't bulge out and I haven't had any rubbing yet. I was a little worried the wheels would be too narrow and/or they would rub before I had them installed.

I'll post some more impressions after I put some more miles on them, but so far I am very pleased.

I have about 500 miles on my 615's ( 275-40 & 225-45-17) Great tires for the cash. I got mine before they went up in price and paid 153.00 for the 275's....pretty cheap considering the tyre

There hands down a better tyre. There better than street tyres, but not as good as a DOT track tyre is the best way to describe them.. There quiet and heat up alot qucker than 215's
