Tein Basics without upper mounts?
I bought a new set of Tein Basic coilovers for my FD. The didn't come with upper mounts on them which took me by surprise. If you tip the assembly upside down, the coil falls off! Anyways, I suppose that the tein basics all come like that, and unfortunately, I threw away my stock suspension. Just to clarify, I just need oem mounts for the fronts and the rears of the teins, right? Also, will I need to compress the coils on the teins to install the oem mounts? Thanks for the help!

Yes, per mount. I just put a set of Tein SS coilovers on and I ordered four new mounts. For what the coilovers cost the additional cost to replace the ~15 year old upper mounts is trivial.
BTW when you call Ray ask for PN 34-110 (front) and 28-111B (rear). I ordered mine in November and the mounts were ~$61 each, x4 - ~$245.

My last set of Tein HA's(older version of the Flex's) didn't come with them. The set of HA's before that set did come with them. My Flex's that I have on the track car came with them. I wonder what is the method on which ones come with them and which ones don't.
