Which Strut Bar

I'm trying to figure out which would be the best strut bar for my 94 FD. I'm just confused by the oval or d-shape Cusco models. They're both the same price although I found another Cusco model for $35 less that's just called the aluminum strut bar. Any suggestions, including other brands?

JIC MAGIC has a sweet set of bars for your car they are available in either carbon or aluminum. Both models are D-shaped in the front and round shaped in the rear.
Remember that you get what you pay for and that cheap cusco bar is not nearly as good as the better cusco bars or the bars from JIC. Contact ARD in
San Jose, CA( rishie )

Does the JIC MAGIC set come with a carbon fiber price tag too on those? I'm probably not gonna replace the rear just yet(although I'll do that soon). I'd rather spend the money for the rear strut on a BOV for the time being. Is D-shaped the way to go, then?

magicman-
Just curious, but are you in anyways affiliated with JIC? You seem to be pushing there products fairly hard lately. If so, cool and what position do you hold?

R u sure the $35 is a cusco? I doubt it.

The d ring is not as wide but thicker. The oval is wider and IMO better looking.

Djantlive,
Cusco made some old ghetto ones that were straight blue a few years back. They go for about
$50, so he might have just found a good deal. They
were never popular though, becasue they look like
POOP.. hehe

Im with Djantlive on the looks.....

How ever someone recently bought the strut bar by FEED, from me... Im not trying to promote it, but its wide as hell and looks FRUKIN sweet TOO... Im thinking about trading in my Cusco for it, but its a little pricey unfortunatly..

Mako,
If you into looks then get what looks good, but a cheaper price is not always the way to go. You can find
ones that look good and work good too, for about $100. so as someone said before, try JIC, Cusco they are usually the cheapest with good quality.... GOOD LUCK!

Hi MakoDHardie
What is the best for you?
Price ? or Quality?
If price, we have so many USED ones.
If you want to get the new one but at the low price,
PM Rishie(ARD T2)
I couldn't beat their price.
If quality, you should wait for RE-A bran new bar with master cylinder stopper for LHD.
It's fully order made one.
I will post pics soon.

I just received the jic magic front strut bar for my fd,and i am happy with it. I am a racer not a ricer and could care less about looks. I bought it soley on jic reputation as a full on racing supplier in Japan. It fit perfect and quality was in your face. i paid $150 with freight included from Stillen. DC

Yeah, contact me. **** Stillen doesn't even mess with FD's whereas I always have stock of FC and FD parts. Plus I'm authorized to be a vendor and have a reputation worthy of advice with reference to RX7's.

Frankly, there is not much profitability in the aluminum bars so depending on where you live I can definitely match that price if not beat it by $10.00.

I always have STB in stock for the FD and FC's. The Carbon bars run out of stock very quickly.

Thanks, Rishie
