stock wheels or go after market???

my red touring 93 rx7 is totally stock... Should I keep her stock (wheels) ? My goal is for looks and not for the race everyday scene... everyone says put some nice wheels on and an exhaust and your car would be bad azz... if anything would a nice exhaust system with stock wheels be nice??? thx for the input...

First and foremost, do what you want to do with your car. Peer pressure is lame.

Second, how much do you want to spend. a "good" set of wheels starts around $1700 shipped with tires. A nice exhaust will be $700+

the main thing right now is to do the realiblity mods. After this is done I will go toward tinting the windows and getting keyless entry. Nothing major. I just want to steer towards clean as can be. I know if the rim and wheels cost to much I will just stick with what I have. The stock exhaust is nasty right now. I don't race nor drive it a lot. It has 35k miles right now and is very clean. It's been sleeping for a while and now I have the $ to make it a nice clean sexy ride. I've already clean the engine, took every dent out, waxed and it's been detailed hardcore. Now i just want to change it a little bit but not to much. So any clean idea's? Thanks for the feed back.

dont take anyones advice on something like wheels. fitment yes, but asthetically, its your car.
just look through the pic threads (i think theres an FD wheel sticky or soemthing) and see if soemthing catches your eye. theres plenty of cheap wheels, and plenty of expensive ones. do what pleases you, not some e-mechanic behind a keyboard
