Size/Fitment Newbie Question...
sorry, i'm not an expert at rim and tire sizing...well i'm pretty sure its ok but would NOT having a staggered fitment hurt the car's performance in any way? after all...the stock rims are the same size...right?
anyways, i was wondering if this combination would work-
17x7.5 , PCD-100 (what is this?), Offset +48, for all 4 wheels
and
225/45/17 for the tires.
my car is lowered a bit, and i'm running the stock rims now.
thanks guys

Send me your BMX parts
If you have an FD keep the stockers unless you get something wider and maybe taller... FD's can support a wide wheel ( via 17 x 11 or 18 x 10-ish)
If you have an FC ( which I couldn't detemine) again, keep the stockers unless you can fit a wider rims.. FC's will also support 17 x 10's with no fender mods at all.... thats what I have anyway +48mm certainly won'r work on an FC...
Do a search on FD fitments. If you have an FC there already is a FC wheel/tyre fitment thread.

PCD refers to the bolt circle for the lugs. Our cars (FD, FC 5-lug) have 5 x 114.3mm (4.5").
And I agree with the other posts here, too:
1) we need to know what car (FB, FC 4-lug, FC 5-lug, FD?) you are shopping for
2) don't buy wheels that are skinnier than stock
3) search; there are tons of threads about this stuff, some specifically created to list good upgrade sizes for various models (https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-20/rim-rubber-sizing-website-resources-160617/)
