Series 8 handling question

Hi Guys. I own a completely stock series 8 rs fd and am in love. Good though the handling is, i do wanna mod this area in the future. Previously I owned a mr2 turbo which was very modified. I found that coilovers were just too stiff for the street (well the ones i had anyway), and want to find a better solution with the fd. I live in Australia where the roads are absolute crap! Eventually my optimum setup would be a set of jap coilovers (whatever) but have them revalved etc. for crap aussie roads.
However I do think that the rs bilstein suspension is very good and was hoping to make the best of it for now. I have no problems with the vertical stiffness of the springs, i think the dampening is matched very well. But I do have a problem with the body roll....wanna tighten this area up. Would fitting stronger front and rear sway bars help this issue? Also, has anyone had any success using the series 8 rs struts with aftermarket springs?
Basically I want a really fun street car which feels tight and responsive when i go for spirited drives, but not one which is way to stiff and only suited to the smoothest of surfaces. Oh yeah and I'm also gonna get me a nice set of super light ce28n's to help the handling out a bit. Any advice would be great, thanks alot guys

Take a look at this thread:

It has a lot of information about improving the handing for a car that is NOT a dedicated track car.

^Yep, that is a good thread.

If you are happy with current spring rates and want less roll, consider a set of sway bars. Then decide whether that decreases roll enough for your tastes and move on from there.

There are various popular wheel sizes for the S6-8. My personal favorite is 17 x9 with a +45 offset running 255/40/17 tires all around. 17 x 8.5 front or all around is another good size but I forget the correct offset with slightly narrower tires. Might want to do a search on that or use the stickied link above.
