maybe its not a good idea go get the perch lowers i was looking at the ones i took off my stock shocks.. and they're only 3 to 4 mm plus the spring probably compresses it a lot... something a bit thicker would work better.. or stack em up.

I had my first chance to drive around with the RSR race springs and tokico illuminas (on setting 4) today. Overall I like the combo, car handles great and the ride is definitely not too rough. The ride is a little 'bouncy', as if the spring rates are overwhelming the shocks, but it is not bad at all.

The car does sit lower than I wanted in the front, but there was no rubbing and I didn't scrape the lip anywhere driving around the city although I was careful not to go over any large speedbumps or steep driveways. I am running 17x8 wheels in the front, 45mm offset, 245/40/17 tires.

BTW, I installed new upper shock mounts with the new springs and shocks.

^

i have my gabs at 7 front 4 rear i'm going to dial them down a bit and see how the ride is. its not so much of a oscillating bounce is it? more of just a faster up and down motion. but it doesn't keep going and going

i almost always scrape lip when dealing with driveways but im used to the scraping now. so im enjoying the setup a lot more now

btw is that a picture of the setup ^ whats it look like from the side. im interested in taking a look @ the fender gap up front drivers side.

Nah, the shocks do keep the 'oscillating' motion under control.

I took that picture right after I installed the suspension, so it has settled down a little bit more, especially in the front. I don't have any pics from the side, and I am going to be away from the car for a couple weeks, but I'll try and get some good profile pics next time I have it out.

I can fit maybe 1.5-2 fingers inbetween the top of the tire and the fender. If that gives you an idea....

I run the rsr race springs with Apexi t-max shocks.
I like this combo, because the shocks are height and dampening adjustable
The ride is a little on the rough side, but I don't mind it.
Overall I wouldn't go with any other springs
