Rotas are great wheels in all honesty. I had a set. Light wheels, and now that they make them in bigger/wider sizes for cheap, You really can't beat that for a good track wheel.

People complain about cast wheels that they break and so forth.

Those are also the same people that slam their cars into a curb sideways and wonder why they have two piece rims now.

I checked out a set and 700 bucks for a 17x8 rim in rwd offsets... you can't beat it.

I agree that rotas are a quality wheel...
some guys badmouth them becasue rota copies designs or because they are so common or cheaper or made in an inferior manner but really they are great wheels.

I wish they'd make slipstreams in 17x9 ad 17x10 for FC/FD/S13/S14 setups, there is money to be made in that market.

Agreed, since Regamasters are out of production. Some Regas were Magnesium tho, which is totally rad. They are some of the lightest wheels I've ever handled, even the Aluminum ones, a couple of friends have them. 17x9, 17x10. Perfect.
