RE-Amemiya AW7 / wheel widening

Has anybody Ever got them widened? And / Or flipped the barrels / got them widened?

To anyone whos got their wheels widened in general, how much did it cost ?

Im looking for a place to do it locally. Pretty stoked i ran across this set and picked it up. Never though there would be a set for sale 10 mins from home I wish they were 18's but they are 17x8.5 / 17x9.5 +42 Either way, still excited!

They will be going on my FD.

I contacted vrwheels about purchasing the necessary outer lips & inner barrels so I can re-size one of my two sets of RE-Amemiya AW7's & it was $1200 just for those 8 pieces. I was going to contact wheelflip to see whats their price on these parts but haven't gotten around to it.

If you are re-barreling the wheels ask whoever is doing it for you to make a step lip to turn the wheels into 18 inchs. I am interested if you can find anyone local because I want to have my Oni's re-barreled, let me know what you find.

Yeah I bought them from Kevin, they are awesome wheels, but the offsets are a little to aggresive for my tastes. I will give Kodiak a call, thanks for the tip.

Dammit Kodiak does not do custom lips or barrels anymore. But they used to. They only sell their brand rims now..

so nowhere local does this i guess? That really bloody sucks.
