RB springs and tire rubbing

ok guys, after some research I decided I want to get the RB springs. what I could not find though, is whether my 245/45 tires on stock wheels will rub or not. I have a 93 R1.

They won't rub in the rear. In the front it's possible under hard cornering. Really depends on where the compression dampening is set on your shocks.

I have the same setup and tire size, with R-1 shocks. I have had minimal rubbing of the tire in the front fenderwell liner on track under bigtime compression; never on the street.

I'll second what Ned had to say, some rubbing up front under hard breaking and hard cornering at the same time, no problems otherwise

i run h&r springs on stock toruing shocks. i just put 245/45/16 on the front last week and i am getting a lot of rubbing on only the drivers side of the car. even just low speed turns its rubbing?

I am pretty sure its has put a hole in the fender liner by this time as well..

any ideas. i think my shocks are tired as well.

thanks,
James

No rubbing with H&R Sport Springs and stock Showa R1 shocks. You can experience them for yourself. See my sig

You're selling the FD, Manny? Why? Are you getting another one or moving on?
