I know you're anxious Neo. I will post prices and such in the latter part of this week.

Kinda sucks because Mackin is requiring another buyin for this line specifically. I believe they require a 5 set deal to get the deep one. Depending on the interest, I will hook it up accordingly. Options will be presented towards the end of the week.

Thanks, Rishie

Rays Gram Lights

i did a search and found out these aren't forged..... just wondering how bad this is gonna be. i'm not looking for $3000 rims but would like some decent ones i don't want to spend $1200 on rims and bend or break them any comments or suggestions. i would love to be able to spend $500 per rim but that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

I'm in the same boat. I'm looking for decent rims and to compound my wheel choices problems I want to stager front to back widths. I'd love some Gram lights, but do they come in a offset for a 2nd. gen. ??

Any of the other Volks, TE,SE37A/B are forged and come in about $500 each depending on size. I'm positive there are sizes/offsets for the 2nd gen as well. How "light" are the gram lights, btw?

I'm gonna put together a package deal for you guys interested in these wheels. I'm gonna be getting a good number of sets in for the FC and FD.

Readily available is the silver and gunmetal for FD fitment.

FC is only in silver right now. Other colors to arrive in early July - Mike, this ones for you. hehe. I'll call you in a sec.

The majority of people out there are using cast wheels on the street anyways. Very few spend the bucks to get forged. Therefore I'd say you shouldn't have any problems, but that could be dependent on your road conditions as well. California and Florida are pretty nice states to run some big *** wheels. Not sure about Jersey.

Although you could buy two sets of wheels for the price of the forged and then you wouldn't have to worry about a thing. I'd feel much more comfortable paying $300something for a replacement rather than $500something.

Let me know and I'll shoot you the pricing. The 17, 7.5 weighs around 15lbs I believe.

Thanks, Rishie

the rims would be for my FD as the rims themselves are worth more than my TII

one guy has used TE37's but i'm gonna see.

if i'm gonna spend the money on rims i'm gonna get ones i REALLY want

I JUST ORDERED THEM!!! Richie is hooking me up with a KILLER deal. I've been looking for some quality wheels that didn't break the bank and these fit the bill PERFECT. Their Ray's, I dont think they'd put their name / reputation on a wheel that will suck. 15lbs for a cast wheel!! I'm guessing their of a higher quality then other cheap cast wheels. And if you want a deal, talk to Richie ( aka: ARD T2 ), I did a search for best price, he gave me the absolute best deal. (damn i sound like a Auto R&D comercial,,lol ).

There are forged gram lights available, but the unfortunate thing is they are almost twice as expensive.

they do look a tad different too, Here is a pic of the
Gramlights ‚ 57F = Forged

I'll post the 57C later so you can see the difference.

From what I understand we cannot get the forged ones as yet. Therefore I do not know the price difference.

I will however have the opportunity to bring some over early June. If anyones's interested please look at the Japan price and do the conversion. that will be a good baseline.

I'll be bringing anything over from Japan.

57F or 57Pro.

Let me know,

thanks, rishie

51,000 yen verses 30,000 yen. $408.92 vs. $233.45. (apples to apples 17X7.5 and 17X7.5 )Thats a Japan price, of course it's going to cost us Americans more $$. Roughly $270~$280 a wheel (ARD T2 might get you a better deal ) for cast and $450~$460 for the forged. Then theres shipping. So the forged are ALMOST twice the amount of the cast. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

as for the 57F they are about $500, for the same size
17" NOW the 57PRO which I like only comes in a 18" right now and they are about $500 for the 18" pics below

they are all for sale, but only the PRO comes in 18" though...

I've heard that these rims are REALLY light, but that they bend....anyone else hear that?

Mine are on order, should be a few weeks to receive them. I want to see hopw smooth the transaction goes, and final price before I offer the ability to get them.

I'm getting my information from FD Okinawa and Rutt. All three of us(an Igy and Dragon) are in Okinawa and have seen these rims. From what I've heard...this may not be true....

...I wish they weren't since they're REALLY nice and REALLY light...
