Quick Product Review: Stillen CrossDrilled Rotors, Project MU Pads

Well my old pads and rotors were toast, so I replaced them with Stillen Cross Drilled rotors and Project MU pads for the front only.

Braking is much improved! I can now engage my ABS at any speed up to about 80mph (havn't tried any higher as this is a purely street car). I have yet to feel any fade at all, and the pedal feel also seems like its improved. They work great both cold and hot too. I have noticed, however, that my wheels get covered in brake dust pretty quickly.

My tires are definatly the limiting factor now, so we will see how well they work with some bigger meat on the ground.

Overall, I can't really imagine needing a better setup for an average driver on the street.

As for price, the Stillen rotors are very reasonable, but the Project MU pads are expensive. Overall I'm very happy.

I just thought some of you in need of new brakes might find this usefull. Peace...

I work at a performance shop here in Albuquerque so I got the rotors straight from Stillen and the pads from Project MU's USA Distributor. I'm not sure what they retail for as I got them at cost, but if you want I can check. I think the rotors retail for around 230 or so and the pads are around 120. Prices are for the pair. If you want I can get them for you at a pretty good deal.
Let me know!

Just wanted to follow up on this! My front MU pads are already worn out. They have seen NO track duty at all, and I don't ussually run them that hard.

They are not worth the high price in my opinion if you use the car as a daily driver. Just too much money for such a short life. If you don't daily drive your car, and you want good pads for both light street and light track duty, I think they are great.
