Pillow ball mounts for Truechoice coil-overs?
I bought a coilover kit from Truechoice awhile ago for my FD that utilizes Koni shocks and 2.5" Eibach springs. However, this kit does not come with new upper mounts. So now I am looking for some new pillow ball mounts. My question is, will the TEIN pillow ball mounts fit with this kit? I figure if the TEIN uses 2.5" springs then it should work, right? Who else makes pillow ball mounts for the FD besides TEIN? There seems to be hardly any information about pillow ball mounts the forum.
BTW, the TEIN mount I'm referring to, I assume the one on the left is what the FD one would look like?:
Thanks,
Scott

Okay, more info. TEIN lists two types of pillow ball mounts on their site:
RX-7 FD3S PRM32-11S90 RS 22,000 PRM33-11S10 RS 25,000
RX-7 FD3S PRM34-31S65 RS 22,000 PRM35-31S65 RS 32,000 For I.D.65 Spring
I'm assuming I would need the I.D. 65 if that means 65mm inner diameter. 65mm = 2.559 in. which is close to my eibach springs which I think are 2.5" I.D.

The only possible conflict I can think of if the springs are the same size is the size of the hole for the shock shaft.
I don't know anything about the particular components in question; I am just trying to help with the analysis.

Hi Scott
I think the left hand of your pic is the right one for FD.
The right hand of your pic is the camber-adjustable one.
It is for strut-type coilover kits.
I use HKS coilover kits and Eibach spring.
65mm ID is almost the same as 2.5" ID.
It's OK.
You have to check the bolt size and pitch of your shocks.
Tein releases several types of Pillo-upper mount.

Okay, I contacted Ground Control and asked them for the part numbers but the rep told me that they don't have part numbers for parts like that. So I just went ahead and ordered direct; they were only $200 for all four corners, way cheaper than the Tein's or HKS. Thanks for responding.

Not that I really know, but from searching I have figured out that they replace the stock rubber and plate upper mount. I think the idea is that they provide more feedback and less "slop." Of course, that also means more potential transferance of vibration and noise.
