After 3 months of waiting, I finally got my Gram Light 57f's...
Front: 18" x 8.5" +40 Offset; tires: Bridgestone S-03's 255/40
Rear: 18" x 9.5" +38 Offset; tires: Bridgestone S-03's 285/30
(fender rolling required)

What suspension are you running? I just got my 57 Pros in 18x9 and 18x10 with the same offsets as you per Volk's application guide. I have the M2/AD coilovers so I hope I won't have to roll the fenders.

ha, yes, pardon me... the front are 255/35's.
The 18x9.5's weigh 18lbs. 45 lbs total with the 285's on though.
The fronts rub a bit on the lining in the front on the driver side when I have the wheel turned all the way, but that's cuz I lost the hardware holding it on and had to rig it on a different way to stay. I doesn't rub on the road or anything though.
Rotary Experiment: As for suspension, I just have koni/eibach's... no coilovers or anything, plenty of clearance. I'm sure if you have the same offset and a wider wheel, you will need to roll the fenders... what size tire are you going to run?
