thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words... I was a little worried they wouldn't fit, but it looks like they worked out just right!

I have to say, those wheels look about three times as nice on the car as they do in pics. Money. Did you have to roll the rear fender too?

here's a couple unmounted pics... the forged ones have sharper angles and thinner spokes than the cast 57c's and 57f pro's...

I love plain five-spoke. They're classic, and will never go out of style for our FD. Easy to clean too

Excellent work, jeffn!

Geez...just when I thought I didn't wheel-envy anymore LOL

What suspension are you running? I just got my 57 Pros in 18x9 and 18x10 with the same offsets as you per Volk's application guide. I have the M2/AD coilovers so I hope I won't have to roll the fenders.

I just noticed you have 255/40 up front. A 255/35 would fit better.

Likely a typo. A 255/40 would have a inch taller diameter and would be easy to pick out, since 285/30 has essentially the same diameter as a 255/35. Looks about the same sidewall.

you guys are so sweet to me...

ha, yes, pardon me... the front are 255/35's.

The 18x9.5's weigh 18lbs. 45 lbs total with the 285's on though.

The fronts rub a bit on the lining in the front on the driver side when I have the wheel turned all the way, but that's cuz I lost the hardware holding it on and had to rig it on a different way to stay. I doesn't rub on the road or anything though.

Rotary Experiment: As for suspension, I just have koni/eibach's... no coilovers or anything, plenty of clearance. I'm sure if you have the same offset and a wider wheel, you will need to roll the fenders... what size tire are you going to run?
