PS. The thing on his rear hatch is the factory rear hatch shade which was listed in the 1993 Accessories catalog.

Thanks everyone. I now know about the shade accessory. Rotary tt, where was that picture taken in your avatar?
Drew thanks I thought it might.
Hey where are you in relation to those shootings? Has it changed your life or what?

Picture taken in the City of Wilmington of my FD. I do have relatives in VA in the area of the shootings - it certainly is a concern.

I think that is the car that was listed on ebay from durham, nc. I contacted that seller and found out that the name of the place is called Topcoat here in raleigh. They said they charge 50 bucks a rim as long as they are in good condition and don't need sandblasting. If you need sandblasting.....65 bucks an hr.

first of all isnt traction a tire tred issue? like slicks have more traction than road tires because they are sticker. I know we are getting victorracers (something like that) for autox but unless you get a really heavy rim it shouldnt matter that much. whats your camber at? and I have never really found coilovers to be anything specile. the best suspension i have seen is a guy in portalnd who has the formula 1 suspension on his z06 something like 5000 in suspension work alone.

I had the chrome stock wheels on my 93, and I loved them. I bent two of them in a mishap involving an open sunroof, short pants, and HUGE wasp, so I went with the chrome BBS RX's I have now.

The BBS RX wheels were the factory wheels on the RX-7 Spirit R, and they really updated the look of my car. I wish I had gotten them in 17", but I just bought new tires for my stock wheels, and didn't want to buy new tires.

I agree about the coilovers. I'm staying stock. What tires are best for grip in the rain and light to light?

Wheels/Tires For Sale

Here's a good deal on Fikse FM 10s with 255/40-17 Toyo T1-Ses. The Fikses are 9 x 17, 45-mm offset.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=120747

Here's a set of polished stock wheels with tires. They look to be a good deal also.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=125299

Good luck...
