Help me pick the best rims for my RX7!!!
Best for red color and traction.
I want 17's.
Price not the objective, looks and trction are.
I thought of chroming them w/255's, take care of traction at basic bpu?

I'm not sure. The guy said it was a limited option on late '93 R-1.
I need more traction, hence the rim thought!

Those are stock rims man, only come 16x8's. Good luck fitting a 255 on there. The biggest I have heard is 245/45-16, I had set on mine they are great. You can always powdercoat your rims insted of chrome, IMO it looks a lot better.

who powdercoated your rims, 7-sins?
Oh and the Powder coat looks good 7-s. Will 245's take care of my traction issues?
The widest tire you can fit on all corners is 285/30-18 with coilovers on 18x10s. I think the widest tires you can fit on the back is like 315/30 or something, not sure, there was something on the forum like that a while ago. Fiske are really sweet looking wheels but expect to pay the $$$$.

What kind of tires do you have on there now? If you have a set of Pep Boy specials on there now, I can imagine you having all sorts of traction porblems. If you don't mind keeping the stock 16's, these should help with traction:

Don't expect them to last too long though, but gaurenteed to cure your traction blues.
Or match them with your fav set of 17's if money is no issue. Volk SE37K/As or TE37s are as light as stock in 17X8.5/17X9.5

7-sins: I think I asked you this before, but do you have a daytime pic of your car? Mine is white too, and I like that powdercoating idea, but that pic is not very good.
