Who sells 1/4" spacers for the 5 bolt fc

I Have an 87 GXL and want to use 1/4" spacers up front. Where would be the best place to pick up a set?

does this set up work?..

17x8.0 +33 Front 225/45/17 tires
17x9.0 +38 Rear 255/40/17

the car is lowered 1.5" on lowering springs+struts, stock fenders.

Does anyone else have this set up or one close to this, your input would be appreciated. Thankyou.

We got a set of Advan SA-3's in those exact wheel specs.
They should fit fine.

I am debating whetherI should stick with 17" or go 18". With this set up for 18" wheels what tires would be recommended?...

Front: 18x8.0 {+35 or +28} ??tires
Rear: 18x9.0 {+38 or +30} ??

1.5" Drop all around with springs and struts, stock fenders. Thanks.

I prefer 17" myself.

If it were my choice, I would go 18" x 8.0", +28 for front and 18" x 9.0", +38 in back.
I don't usually look at 18" tires, but my tire chart says:
225 / 40 / 18 for the 8.0".
265 / 35 / 18 for the 9.0".
http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/tires.htm
This will keep the rolling diameters close to stock.
This will NOT give you the best performance due to the big stagger between front and rear tire width differences.

OK, here's my last question ever in this thread :

FC. Coilovers. 30 mm wider front fenders. 30 mm over fenders out back. How wide can I go, what offset?

9.0" wide up front comfortably, assuming 255 wide tire.
10.5" wide in back comfortably, assuming 275 wide tire.
This is for 17" sizes that are common.

Could i fit these under stock fenders? If not how much would i be off by?

16x9 +20 all around (front and rear)

I have coilovers as well and would be willing to roll the fenders / pull them if needed.

I looked at your chart at FC3spro, looks like my answer is +15 all the way around.

yes. if you don't want much camber or pull in front you may have do do a slight stretch on the tire though. but you should be able to make it fit up to at least a 235 without too much effort.
rears you should be able to fit whatever size tire you want. might need a slight roll with the bigger sizes.

So, according to my best guess... If I need +15 or so, and the wheels I'm looking at are +25 or so, I could get a 10 mm spacer and be fine, right?

would this fit good without any rubbing on a 90 gxl? I will be using the car for autox events and maybe a little drifting.

no. it might fit, but not good. get something with a lower offset. at least +40, or lower.

Sorry if this has been covered already but.....

17 x 9 + 26
245/40

Will this fit under rolled front fenders with coilovers? I don't want to install overfenders. I plan on running 265s out back and wanted to keep the handling as neutral as possible.

Thanks in advance.

That's actually quite a wide tire for that wheel width...
I think it's a bit too tight inside.

?? Will these 18's fit....8.5''front....9.5''Back 20mm offset on BOTH ??

will these wheels fit without sticking out? Flush to fenders would be ok though.

225-40-18 tires on front & back fitted to...................

=Front= 8.5'' wide, 18'' / 20mm offset

&

=Back = 9.5'' wide, 18'' / 20mm offset as well.

thanks,
-Dustin
