You would have to check on that, but I would think the older and newer models share the same bolt pattern.

That's almost a full inch further out.
You just don't have that much space to play with up front...

do it. 16x8 +20 isn't that bad. just roll the fender a tiny bit and I'd say you would be fine. if you need, you could run the tires slightly smaller... like 215's and 235's. and I would go with a 45 aspect ratio instead of a 50 in the back.

Ok I just aquired a set of FD wheels super cheap and would love to put them on my FC. I done a bit of research and found that it would cause rubbin to the tires because of the Offset correct? Well was wondering where i could get spacers from, or something to avoid having this problem.

Thanks, I decided to go with them, but with +10 in the rear to help fill out the rear fenders. Or, would +20 be fine in the rear?

Tires, I'm looking at 225/50's all around, since I found a good deal on them. Hopefully it should clear everything alright?

Again, thanks guys for everything. Your help is much appreciated.

hitting the outer fender isnt the problem, with a high offset like that, you might rub something inside the fenders like your struts. might need some spacers to be safe, those specs are like fd wheels.

with 225 all around, I think the +10 in back would be best.... you may need to 'slightly' roll the fender if your car is low. but it should look really good.

from what i know you wont have to roll anything but instead have to use a spacer to bring the wheel out so it doesnt rub the spring perch . it also depends on what size tires you are going to be running. alot of stuff to think bout when picking wheels

trying to figure out if my legend wheels will fit. same tire size, same rim size, however the legend has a +65 offset, which i heard is a big difference from the 86gxl offset. would the wheels fit?

maybe a slight spacer for the front. some people claim those sizes to fit... I think it would hit the shock on my car. so like a 3-5mm spacer should be good for the front. rears will be fine.

no way any +65 wheel is going to fit. if you get a 25mm spacer, then they will fit like stock wheels... but they won't even come close to fitting without that big of a spacer.

unless you stretch the front tire, you will need to roll the fronts with a 9... unless you run a lot of -camber...
for the rears, low 30's I think should do good without rolling... if you run like a 255 or smaller.

They are same width and offset as FD wheels.
Look for those threads with FD to FC wheel fitment.
Hell, the archive has it right on the top.

Is there something I can measure so I don't have to ask about widths and offsets every time i find a wheel i like?

i'm not really sure i know what offsets are.
here's what i think:
higher number = wheel is closer to the car and more under the fenders
lower number = wheel sticks out away from body more
for a wider wheel, i need a lower offset, right?

I want to be able to figure out what wheels will fit my car without asking about every one.
