The Official FC Wheel Fitment Thread

But the front is where ur prolly gonna have to do some camber, stretch, roll fender.
here to put it to perspective for u as for the front. I have 205 55 16x7 et43. The inner wheel is like less than the thin side of a coin away from the suspension. On the outer side... I say about another 1/2 inch or less till flush with body.
With 18x9.5 ... Even if it's 20et ur prolly looking at rubbing issues on both outside and inside.
That's my 2 cents. I never owned a rim that big so I don't know, but that's what I feel like will happen.

Yeah I'm running a 9.75in in the back with a +25 with no problem
The front I'm running 8.25 with +25 and have maybe a quarter inch to spare along the suspension.
Since yours are 18s they are going to mount higher along the suspension where the coil gets bigger i would do a test fit without tires to see what al you gonna have to do

Undecided! Needing input!
16" Work Equips w/225/50/ZR16's all the way around. Stock suspension.
Front wheels: 16x8 +32.5 Offset
Rear wheels: 16x9 +19.1 Offset
Wondering if I should actually purchase these tires(the pictures are from today's test-fit), or save my $300 and find a set of 17" Equips with better offset on the rear wheels.
Basically, does my stock suspension make the wheels look stupid, and do the rears look like they stick out too far? Would it be an insult to the S5 if I were to sport these for a while? What should I do? I need to come to a decision by 8am in order to have them return the tires or have them installed. Thanks in advance!

I really like the look of those wheels on the car, especially with the stepped lip!
Find someone good with a fender roller and get a nice subtle flare on the rear fenders, and a roll up front. When it comes time for you to upgrade your suspension and lower the car a little, the combo will look sweet.

Kept the tires and wheels.
I kept the wheels and tires and I couldn't be happier. The car looks so much meaner now. Plus the Atrezzo tires are way grippier than my 12 year old Cooper Touring tires, so there is a handling upgrade that nearly matches the visual upgrade Here are some pics:
I am running a 3mm spacer in the front and ground a few mm's off the front brake caliper bump on each side so that my brakes would clear the spokes on the front wheels. But like it's been said before, do that at your own risk because if you go too far down you run the risk of going into the underlying hydraulic chamber, or even worse; not opening up the chamber with the grinder and leaving a thin layer of metal that will burst open upon heavy braking. I tested my brakes by stepping on them waaay hard BEFORE I drove, and they held up fine. But it's still risky so perform at your own risk!
Thanks, I really like how they turned out, and a stepped lip has always caught my eye on these wheels. I will post an update when I get the roll/flare done and get it lowered. For now I am very happy with the wheels, even on stock suspension.
Here is my other thread that I started on the subject.

Thanks again for the input! Let me know how you think it turned out.

I'm sure many people have seen this fc already, but what are the specs on the tires is he running? They are not listed in the article. I just ordered those wheels 17x9.75, 17x8.25 (+25mm all around).
