planning to get some 16x9 0s in the rears with either a 205 45 or a 215 45.
would they clear the fenders without a roll?

looking at some
17x9 +22 front (going to run 225/40/17)
17x9.5 +12 rear (255/40/17)
or
17x10 +22 rear 255/40/17 (going to guess to wide)
Some camber in the front, and whatever the rear is for having it lowered, looks like 1-5 deg.

Just so I know what I'm getting myself into and hopefully someone can tell me if this will fit and/or look okay - I know there are literally dozens of people who have posted their wheel sizes, but I want someone to double check my plans:
Front: 17x7 +38mm, 215/45-R17
Rear: 17x8 +35mm, 235/45-R17
can someone please tell me if this will look good? Once again, just want to double check - I've been picking out wheels for the last four days and really want to make sure the sizes I get will look good. Thanks a ton. Is everything going to line up okay? I don't want one wheel to stick out further than the other.

Has anyone considered the Axis Klassics yet? Kinda thinking about it (Johnson why?!)
The 17x9.5 +20 isn't out yet but just wanted to throw that out there. I got a feeling that my front suspension will absolutely not clear 17x8.5 +15 easily (available for $250). I'm using Tanabe GF210s so I'm wondering what kind of a roll (or spacers?) I'm expecting if I go this route.
I figure if I have to roll using something smaller in the 16s I might as well get bigger wheels.

new to the rotary world
i have noticed that there are a lot of 17" rims, but how why dont ppl use the 18" rims more often i was thinking of a 18x8 in +25 front 18x9 in +10-15 rear? would that work. i know i am going to play with spacers and i know i have to get new studs but anyboyd know of a good place to get longer studs that will hold?

I am running 17x9 +28 CR Kai on my rx8, with a 245/45 tire. I am curious if that will be pretty flush on my FC. It has gr+ pros and i have camber control rods in the rear, so i can adjust if need be. Will i have to pull the fenders? I don't mind rolling them though. I figure that i also my need to run a shorter tire, like a 245/40 in the front. LMK.
