i run 18x10 +14 with 285/30/18 under corksport front fenders, so yah they'll fit.
keep in mind you cant always trust the fenders' advirtized width- some of them are narrower than they claim. as far as I know, corksports are the widest (and theyre on sale!). Shine for example is maybe 20mm wider. no idea about DMax or whatever else.
if you're talking about the rear, you can fit those under stock fenders with ~30mm offset
this pic is an older setup, but basically the same. 18x9.5 +15, and ~2* camber (ignore rear tire! its something else)

The drift/grip scene in the U.S. has become more about show boating. Oh its not "hella fresh" so that guy must be a loser.... Trolls go around thinking they know it all.

Well I did it, you know, I used to rag on other peoples cars as well, thinking that I knew what was best for them... But after planing, and more planing, and rebuilding my motor, and parts list, after parts list and more planing... I see how much work it takes. After all that I couldn't care less what offset my wheels are. Its funny to see what I used to do, done to me, and it lets me know I grew up in that time. Now I know that anyone that can openly criticize someone's project on just by what they see, with no questions asked... they have much more to learn in life.
This will be a D1SL class car when I'm don't and wheels will be a tiny part of this master piece in the making
It looks better when its sideways.

Don't get all butthurt, its just a comment on your wheel fitment because this is a fitment thread.
I can't speak for the guy who posted "no", but I can say that I don't care what your plans are , what work you have done, or about your dreams and aspirations, or your turn offs, or what sign you are.
I don't think anyone needs to conform to what ever other "cool kid" is doing, but it's a fitment thread with pictures, expect commentary on fitment.. positive or negative and take it for what you will. My mistake was even getting involved.
That said...
Can you run 17X9.5 +25 in the rear with unworked fenders and drop or is a roll def needed when running say a 255? And will the wheel lip maintain very close to flush (In the correct sense of the word: 1. so as to be level or even 2. directly or squarely) stance with the fender?

I don't have my fc anymore so my current car is irrelevant to this thread

but yeah even on a budget
1.sell your current wheels
2.get some 17x9.5 +15 battles for like $600
3. get some coilovers (I'm assuming you don't have some already)
4.???
5.Profit

Anyway... I feel like an idiot for my last comment...
As far as selling the wheels... nah, not now... I'll make it work, that's why its called fitment right?
I will say this, a higher offset with spacers would have been a better idea...
That way I could have got the wheels to set closer to where I wanted them
Should I get 20mm or 25mm on the front??
How much should I get on the rear? Should I just roll it?

Assuming the rear is the look/fitment you were going for...
1)You need coilovers so you can run ~ 3 deg negative camber up front to get the front to tuck in at the top and roll the fenders front and rear.
2)Make sure you have really high spring rates and low grip tires as you have very little suspension travel before the tire sidewall rubs the fender lip with the "Mexi Flush" fitment. You want to make sure the car looses traction before it transfers weight.
3)Avoid bumps= done!
Now if you want a functional fitment= start over by ordering new rims.

Thanks the car rolls just fine. I'm so tired of that lingo, Mexico flush is so corny to say. I asked about fenders not camber. I Know about camber and I know my options could someone that has done this before help. That has fenders.
Seems this country is on one big band wagon. If someone does something different red lights go off. I bought the wheels, they are on the car.... now..... I need help with fenders... that's it... to fit my wheels.... is this is the thread for that? Or is this the post pics and get flamed thread I might be lost...

now..... I need help with fenders... that's it... to fit my wheels.... is this is the thread for that?
I believe the thread was originally for fitting wheels/tires to the car and not fitting the car to wheels/tires, but the latter does seem to be the craze now.
I had assumed the rear "fitment" is what you were going for as I prefaced my comments.
Your wheels/tires pretty much require coilovers for my previously stated reasons, so the obvious solution was to use the negative camber up front to help tuck the tire.
The FC needs to max the front negative camber anyways in a performance situation, so the chassis just looks right with ~2-3 deg negative to car guys.
I guess I have no idea what look you are going for so can't really help on fenders and probably shouldn't try, but I have to say if you do over fenders on the rear you would have the unique situation of flush rims and sunken tires.
I guess you could roll the rear and if that isn't the look you wanted, do the widefenders as you will cut out the rolled section anyways for overfenders.
Wider front fenders or negative camber and a roll are your choices up front.
I don't understand your question on overfenders up front; they all do about the same thing which is stick out another 30mm.
Either you want the stockish looking ones, the ones with the vent, the Panspeed style add ons or ZG style flares.
I say get the ones with the vent 'cause it looks cool when you are drifting and smoke is pouring out the vent.
The choice pretty much boils down to style which you obviously don't need us to dictate to you...
