You would need atleast 18mm to clear the coilovers. Good luck!

I followed this guide for my S5

http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm

and was very pleased with the results. I bought a set of light weight factory 2001-04 Mustang 16x7.5" 30mm offset 5-spoke forged rims (16.5lbs) along with set of 225/50-16 tires and they fit perfectly. They really filled up the front fenders and give the car a much more aggressive stance. Someday I may eventually step up to a staggered 17" setup, but for right now these are great.

Now I just need to get the suspension freshened up.

No spacers.

Edit..I lied. I rub in the driver rear on large freeway bumps. This is due to how the fender was pulled though, the other side is fine.

They'll fit with a roll and aggressive flare if you want 0 camber w/ 255's.

You'll need less flare if you run narrower tires, and/or add more camber.

You'll need at the most a 235 to get the stretched look, run narrower tires to get even more stretch.

215/40 for a stretched look are ideal, but you can get away with a 225/40. Even a 225 will not look stretched if it has a fat sidewall (square tire).

A 235 can but most likely will not look stretched, depending on the sidewall.

Ok so your thinking a low profile tire or what tires would you run on a 17x9 with +20 offset and get the nice stretched look

I apologize for asking this question even though there is a very large write up here, but 200+ pages is a lot to filter through.

What are your opinions on this setup?
Front - 17X8+33 (225 tire)
Rear - 17X9+38 (255tire)

Would I need spaces to clear factory sized struts and shocks?

So if I want to get some 20mm spacers for my wheels. Any suggested brands? And once I have them do I just bolt them on and go?
