The Official FC Wheel Fitment Thread
#3801
I'd been thinking 25mm and possibly use a spacer if needed, but I'd rather avoid spacers if possible, these are custom wheels after all. Maybe I'll just go with a 20mm and roll the fenders. I've got half used 225/50/15's now, but in the future I'll be running 225/45/15's.

That'd be all well and good if the car weren't 6 hours away under snow. I think I'll go with 20mm to minimize the potential for needing a spacer.

Quick question guys, I'm looking at a set of used rims & I'm a little concerned about fitment. Been through the bulk of this thread and can't find anything difinitive. The rims are 18x8.5 + 28 an 18x9.5 + 28. I would like to run a 245/35 and a 265/35 stagger but I am unsure of fitment. I'm running coilovers btw. The fronts should clear no problem, maybe a little more than perfect camber, but they'll fit. The +28 in the rear has me concerned. The car was recently repainted so any modifications to the wells is completely out of the question right now. Not going to risk repainting the bulk of the car to fit some used wheels, makes no sense. So, will an 18x9.5 + 28 fitted with a 265/35/18 fit the stock rear well with coiloves? What are your thoughts?

I'm running a 17X9 +24 in the back on a 245/45/17 tire. It fits great with no rubbing. Your rims will extend out 2mm beyond mine, and your tire is shorter. I dont think you will have any problems.
As long as the tire does not hit the trailing arm you should be fine.

Need to buy some RE-01s asap. I can't decide if I want to buy 234 or 245 (40 or 45) front. I have decided on the 255/40R17 rear. I have 17x8 +35 ms-01 wheels front and 17x9 +34 rear. I am planning on rolling my fenders and possibly stretching then if I need to. My friend has a fender roller. Right now I have ground control coilovers all around, and switching to poweredbymax soon.
Any recommendations?
Thanks

I'm planning on buying a set of new rims for my vert. I found a pretty good deal on a set of Gram Lights, I just want to know if they will fit my car without any modifications on the fenders?
front will be 18x8J ET30 with 225/40R18
rear would be 18x9J ET22 with 255/35R18
What do you guys think, will this fit without modding the fenders?
Oh and I'm still on stock suspension!

Anyone know if Ted still reads this thread, it's a special deal and it won't last forever, forgive me for being inpatience, it's just that sometimes I read "will fit no problem" and in other posts it says "might need rolling on the rear fender"
I know it says it will fit on Ted's webpage, but it doen't say if this is including rolling/pulling.
Problem is that I can not just go out and test fit those wheels as they have to come from abroad (i'm in the Netherlands), just about 25 FC verts in this country!
Thanks,

Now that's a lot of pages! I made it through the first few, but good grief!
S4 FC with KYB AGX + Racing Beat springs front and rear.
How about this wheel fitment? I don't want this to affect my handling, so if I need to stick with 17s for the taller sidewall, I'll do it.
18x8 18x9 +38
Thanks,
~Jason

I pretty much have the same problem, going with 17's or 18's?
Well I'll probably choose the 18x8J ET30 and 18x9J ET35 (got the ET's from Ted).
I think 225/40R18 up front and 255/35R18 at the rear.
Good luck with your quest!
I'm going for the Gram Lights 57S Pro:

Massive thread! Too big for me to find my answer, i'll be here all day.
Here we go, I currently have 17x8 +35 sportmax xxr wheels all around. 225/45/17 for rubber. I'm looking into some coilovers now and i'm a little envious on rubbing. I do plan to slam it, as far as I can but still be able to go over speed bumps no problem. I believe I would need spacers in the front correct?
If I don't get coilovers the money will go to ssr sp1's then coilovers at a later date, what do you guys think?

Finally got a chance to get some pictures.
17X9 +24 Cobra wheels 235/40/17s in front 245/45/17s in back.
Baseball bat fender roll in front, With a degree or so of negative camber, there is no rubbing ever. I have a bit more camber in these pictures. Rear does not rub at all, and I have not rolled the rear fenders.
I have BC coilovers and there is a half inch between the rim and the coilover body in front.

^What's the width of the wheel?
