Nitto NT 555

I was thinking of using these for the street. Anyone have any comments about this tire? Thanks.

I have 10K+ miles on my 245/50/16's and love them. Drive with them rain/shine with no problems. They 60ft better when more broken in and need a healthy burnout to get them nice and sticky.

Air down tires to 18psi, do your burnout and then try different launch RPM's to see what works for you.

They also handle well for a drag radial and BFG DR's are downright scary in this department and in any hint of rain.

I wasn't talking about the drag radials. I have those on my car now. I was talking about some street tires to drive around. There are like 3 different types of NT 555 I guess.

They'll last forever. hehe. I use these on several of my street vehicles. Not so sticky though, with a 300 treadwear and all.

Ya, I am more concerned with wet traction and longevity. So these are good for that?
