Nippon F-2 Racing wheels...

Has anyone bought these? I am not a big fan of spending $1000+ on wheels (which is why I powdercoated mine) But these wheels look like the Rota slipstreams. I like the look, and I only drive the 7 around town, no track at all. Says they weigh 16lbs. and I can get a set of 4 all black for $340 shipped. The only downside is they only come in 17x7, well thats all I have found anyway.

Any feedback would be appreciated...

Your stockies are better, IMO. They're 8 inches wide and weigh less than those wheels.

Damn, if they had some wider widths I'd hit 'em.

BlackTurbo2,

If you are looking for wheels for your FD, the stock wheels are 8" wide as already noted. You want something at least the same width. You can get Rota Slipstreams in a 17x8 or 17x8.5 with an FD friendly offset:

While I don't have any personal experience with the Rota wheels, I know a lot of the Subaru guys use them for track and rally driving.

Thanks for the input all...

Mahjik, looks like Im just gonna go with the slipstreams. They seem fairly inexpensive!

I'll post up pics once I get em... =o)

Here's an idea of what they'll look like:

Not Rota's exactly, but the same design.
