I needed to know from you FC people.. whats the widest tire that you have put on a FC with a stock body, and the biggest size rim. The FC has KYB AGX adjustable shock absorbers (8-way rear, 4 way front) So anyone with that helpful info please let me know... dont wnna get the wrong size and all... thanks

just go to the ccw website. ccwheel.com and they have a forum you can refer too. otherwise if you call them directly the owners name is John, he will tell you straight out the biggest fitment you can put on there based on what you have (big brakes, rotors, suspension, etc.).

I have 225/45/17's on 17x8 wheels and they fit without rubbing, offset is 32. I've heard of some people running 235/40/17's without problems, but it really depends on the tire, as some are wider than others.

What kind of power are you putting down? What springs are you running? Do you know where you would like the car to have most functionality, street, track, mountain, etc.... Will this be for track only?

definitely need to go in the low 30's offset on 8". With that setup you might be able to run a 235/40/17 and definitely 255/40/17 rear. Now if you want to go extreme but not mess with your gearing you are looking for maybe like a 285/30/18 and a 10" wide wheel. You might need to modify fender. I can measure my car tomorrow. I have put a FD 10" +50 285/30/18 on FC but did not load the suspension to check for adequate clearance. Now if you go this wide the ratio to your front tire size will make this want to understeer. So look for balance front and rear as opposed to extreme fitments. Extreme within limits is what I think is best to look for. I have spoken to John before. CCW is amazing wheel for the price. Many years ago I was planning to buy a set as well. Just a little too raw for on the street. Very small face, nice phatty tall lip. It's a track wheel for sure.

If you are NA i would suggest a simply 8 and maybe 9 setup. Standard +30 offsets. G0 225/45 and 255/40.

Now if you are open to it, i suggest getting some 20mm front fenders and this will allow you to run a 245/40/17 front and then run 255/40 rear.

Inform us of your power output and functions. This will help.

Oh ya, you can use the fenders we are using. Under 400.00 for the front set and complete replacement, also has nice vent. Looks like Msport front fender. Oh I think I ahve a pic:

Chris is running 17x9 +15 here with coilovers. Obviously, Zeals.lol. We stretched a tire but you can run 245/40 no problem, maybe even 255/40. Due to tire flex i'm not certain, you might grab the fender under hard load.

thanks for the info... the car is pushing right now 289 rwhp... and soon will have a bigger turbo.. probably pushing over 350 at the wheels, will be used for street driving and track use as well... so im going to purchase drag radials for track, maybe even radials for street, my CCW wheels will be on the street tires, i will have other wheels for the track, maybe FD wheels who knows, ill have to make a choice on that one

Hmm, ok. Good power so we can play now. How do you like your gearing right now? Do you want to make it taller or shorter? For street I assume you'd want to keep it near stock.

This is tough, for street you can stagger and make it look mean as hell. But for track you might want a more symmetrical setup. Which do you choose?

depending on the size of the turbo... looks to be more near 400 rwhp... but anyway... i like the stock gearing for now... i mean for street wise... im not gnna be really serious on the track... ill drag it... but not all the time. So with that i assume street setup definately, but by all means i dont want to be weak at the track either. I think im just going to buy a set for street, and a set for drag *tire wise* So what do you suggest?

Without doing a 20mm front fender, imo, you'll be stuck with 17x8 front +30 and run 9.5 +35 rear has worked well for me. Run 235/40 and 255/40

does that allow it to have the stock springs.... because if not i will just go ahead and get coilovers... as of now the car is still on stock springs. By all means the last thing i need is to **** up my new sets of wheels and the car too
