Question Need info on RX7 IRS

Hey folks, active little forum you've got going here! I've got a wierd one for you. I'm building a V8 powered Triumph Spitfire, and I need an independent rear suspension that can handle the torque of a 5.0 Ford. I'm told RX7 IRS's are pretty tough and might do the trick. Some questions:

1. What kind of power/torque can a stock RX7 IRS handle?

2. Any particular RX7 years stronger or better than any other years?

3. Anybody hapen to know the rotor-to-rotor width of the RX7 IRS?

4. Any other words of wisdom you can offer on RX7 IRS's?

Thanks a lot everybody.

Whe n you say that i assume you mean the diff and axles the differential isnt very strong for drag racing and i wouldnt use it with the torque of a V8 the axles are decent dont hear of too many people snapping those.
