MMR Subframe Spacers??

I've done a search and am unable to find anyone using these.

What's their purpose?

Pros/Cons?

(This is on a 88GTU with Adj. KYB AGXs and RB 1" Lowering Springs / 17x8/17x9 Wheels)

Thanks for the help,
~Jason

I would like to know also. Might want to ask MMR?

Only thing I can think of is it'll reduce the lateral movement of the subframe, but not transfer the vibrations to the chassis like the delrin would.

4th item listed on this page:
http://mmr-direct.com/

Click on "Tech Articles" at the top of the page for installation guide.

I'm not understand if this is really necessary.

I believe you can use these to stiffen up the OEM rubber subframe mounts. It looks like less work than installing the UHMW ones.

I asked the same question, I don't think they are necessary when you upgrade the bushing itself.

So they serve no purpose once UMHR bushings are installed. That's what I needed to know.

I'm not going to call the folks who are selling a product because they're only interested in selling what they have. I wanted "real" answers possibly from someone who had used them.

They offer email contact only and you guys reply much quicker than they do.

Same thing i was thinking. Spacer w/ OEM mount or no spacer with replacement MMR mount.

It's probably not possible to use them with aftermarket mounts, since they won't have the recess for the "spacer" to fit into. You'd have to install them upside-down, in which case it's an expensive washer and nothing else.

That is the conclusion I came to.

I just ordered the UHMW subframe bushings.
