M/T ET streets on stock 3rd Gen rims
Does anyone know if you have to drill the valve stem hole on the 3rg gen stock rims to handle the tube valve stem? The instructions say the hole must be 5/8 inch. If I have to drill the hole larger I'd rather get a set of cheaper rims just for the ET streets rather than ruining my OEM rims. Any suggestion for a cheap light 8x16" rim that fits the FD just for strip use?

I went 12.2 on et streets with no tubes as well.
Heading into the 11's this weekend, I'll let you know if I have any problems w/out tubes...I think my rear end will bust before the ET's slip unfortunately...

I ran 1.71 60ft times with 245/50/16 Nitto DR's and 11.76@115mph.
Slicks need a burnout to clean off any debris and get the maximum performance from them.
The feeling a 1.8 60ft time invokes vs. a 1.60 or 1.50 is like day and night. But I wouldn't want to break a rear diff either.
Thank goodness FC T2 differentials are only about $200 used. I have yet to break one yet and have launched with 8psi off the E-brake on true M/T 26x8.5" slicks!
