Are longer studs needed if I am just using a 5mm spacer?

Hello
I found a set of super advans 17x8 with +40 offset. I think a 5mm spacer to lower them to +35 would work well.

Do I need longer studs for a 5mm spacer?

Who makes the hub centric ones for our cars? Can someone provide a link?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the wheels and the amount of thread still able to catch. If the rims allow a fair depth for the nuts, you should be OK. If you only get a few threads I'd get the studs.

I'm happy when the nuts are flush at the top with the stud as you are getting 100% coverage of the threads and optimal strength.

count the number of turns you can get with the lugnuts with the spacer on.

4 is the bare minumum by design, so you're gonna want at least 5 full turns.
