Konig Tantrums

Looking at the 18X9 with the 40mm offset. Will these work for the front and rear on an FD? I really don't have too much money to spend on wheels right now and looking at an inexpensive alternative. I have 17x7 and 18X7.5 in the Tantrums right now and like the way they look. Just looking for some more rubber on the road. Rishi do you sell Konigs? If so pm me with a price.

Might rub... with the wrong tire size. Will have to go narrower and shorter in tire size, like 245/35-18 to keep the front tires from pulling down the LF fender lips during left-hand turns (sharp ones)...

Ok found a good deal on some 17X9's. The only thing is they are 40mm offset. Will they rub upfront with 255/40/17 tires? Anybody know of any good deals on this size tire?

Do you need wheels or just tires? Possibly run a 245/40/17 on those 17,9's. You're better off getting an 8.5" with a +40 and running a 245/40 though. I know that won't rub.

My Suggestion is to go with the SSR Integral A2 in the 18,9 +45 offset that will allow you to run 255/35/18 front and rear. These are on special and can be had for around $1400.00. This is a semi-solid forged wheel made in Japan. If that's affordable then that's what I would do.

Konigs and FD's just don't go together. You'd have more prestige and performance retaining the stock wheels.

No offense to the wheel guru but I think that this FD and those tantrums look pretty good
