I just received my 18X10 CCW today. They are the "swiss cheese" light weight package.

I ordered them with the anodized black centers. They look really good, better than the pics. My digital camera really sucks.

I should have gotten mine anodized. And "swissed". They look great. How about weighing one for us?

Nice. A guy here locally is running the polished centers in the same size. The car looks evil with those and wide Hoosiers mounted

Jaymz,

Yeah, I like the black anodized center combo with the polished rim lip!

Not crazy about the swiss cheese holes. I wonder if the strength of the wheel is compromised with the holes? How much weight do you save?

The holes aren't for looks, but they probably drop half a pound or a pound from the wheel. The CCW centers are extremely beefy, so I don't think the holes will be a problem.

Question CCW Wheel Centers

I thought John Purner was using the large wheel centers for the 17 and 18-inch mesh wheels? The centers look slightly small on Jaymz pic? There was a time when John was using 16-inch wheel centers for his 17s? Just curious...

Brad,

What sizes and offsets are you getting? What tire sizes? What application do you intend for the CCWs? Fill us in on the "naughty" details, so all the wheel/tire neophytes can learn from us

Its great to see more poeple jumping on the CCW bandwagon. I picked up 6 of johns wheels about 18 months ago and will be sending them back to him over the snowy season so he can anodize and trim some weight. Absolutely the best wheel for the dollar, and GREAT customer service.

I agree. I have a set of CCW's on my Viper and love them. The only hard part is cleaning them. I hope the black centers help hide some brake dust.

Max: The shipping label said 45 lbs for the weight. I dont have a scale at my house, so I can weigh them.

Dan,

How will get 12 x 18s to fit in back? Do you have wheel fender flares and M2 trailing arms?

What tire size will you get?

What do you guys think about CCWs for the street? They sure look like they would hold up okay with the ultra thick center sections. Thanks.

I have CCW's on my Viper and drive on the street all of the time. I have had no problems at all with them. They are reasonably light and very strong.

Give John Purner a call at 386-258-0083 and ask him how many wheels has he seen break. He is an honest guy and will give you a straight up answer.

BTW Tell him that you want the black centers like James Forbis.

Yes, Pettit flares, m2 arms, and coilovers.
The tires are 335/30/18 (pirelli for now, and michelin later)

Exclamation Damn, Jaymz

Your car looks Wicked FAST!

Love how the rivets on the bodywork match the rivets on the CCWs!

That singe turbo's as big as my head!

You'll need to school me in the single turbo business...it seems everyone's going this route,

My stock twins are finally on their last legs after this past weekend at Road America (they're now leaking oil on to the ground!).

I was planning on getting Japan Type RS twins as bolt-on replacements??
