iForged, JLine, AME Wheels

Alright, well, I am close to having the money for my new wheels and am still trying to figure things out. I would love to have HRE 545R's but I just do not have the money to spend 5-6k for just wheels.

With the kind of color car I have (blue) I'm going to going for a high polished look and I like the following wheels.

iForged Aero's (2 piece w/ rivits) - 18x9 front 18x10 rear
Jline 5RL3 (3 piece) - 18x9 front 18x10 rear
AME Circular Spec-R (2piece wheel I think) - 18x9 front 18x10 rear

Price is no worry as they all are around the same price.

Pictures of the wheels

Those are pictures of the iForged Aero's. I really like the simple 5 spoke look. I really want a deep dish wheel and I was told "Will have to check with iForged but should be able to do a 2" front and 4" rear lip sizes" I e-mailed iForged but have not received word from them. If I could get a 4" lip in the rear, that is my selling point for those wheels.

That's a pic of the Jline but it's the 2 piece wheel. I've tried finding more pictures of this wheel but wasn't able to. This picture doesn't really impress me, I'd choose the iForged over these even though these are probably a lot cheaper.

Last but not least are the AME wheels. As you can see, these wheels are beautiful with the blue color. This is Rishie's car from AutoRnD and it's stunning in person.

Again the AME's. Rishie and this guy was at the Rotary Fest Meet last weekend and I was drooling over them, this is a pic of them on an FD in a dark silver finish. I'd get the BBF finish (the finish on Rishie's 8)

So at this time I'm being pulled to the iForged aero's and the AME wheels. AME because I have seen them in person and because I can go ahead and deal straight through Rishie at AutoRnD who are wonderful help in suspension, wheels and brakes.

I'm pulled towards the iForged Aero's because I have seen one of my friends car with HRE 545R's on his FD and loved them. The iForged Aero's are direct replicas of these wheels. Although I have never seen these wheels in person, they still hold my interest.

Last, here are pictures of my car right now. These were taken at Rotary Fest. Credit goes to whoever took them! (Notice those AME wheels on that red FD tempting me during the whole meet! lol)

Guy... You are making this WAY too hard.

Pick your budget. Then, pick the wheels you like the most that fit your budget. Done deal!

AME's officially played out. Several cars rocking them at the fest. HRE is officially absurd and not worth the price. Honestly, replacing the stock rims is arguably silly in the first place. I think Jline is the way to go. iForged is great. But, youre going to love your child regardless of how much they **** up. I think the lines on the iForged might be a little too harsh for the FD. I like the rounded look of the car.

Jline +1

That is the friends car with the HRE 545R's.

What do you mean the lines on the iForged might be a little too harsh?

why don't u do something different. It seems that the trend is away from the large lip and having spokes that goto the edge of the rim but bow in.

No that many people have that on the FD.

+ 1. I personally think you should go with the IForge rims. They'll always look good. BTW - I'm not totally sure, but I don't think you'll get a 4 inch lip out of stock fenders.

Yah 3 inches sounds about right. My wheels are being custom built and my car is wider in the rear by an inch and the lip is going to be 3 1/2 inches. It could have been 4, but I decided to go with bigger rims instead.

Put a set of Race black-anodized Fikse FM5's on it.
