I need some drag tires.
I can't decide between MT ET streets, and the BFG drag radials. Any of you guys running either of these? Some pros and cons would help a ton.

ET streets will hook better than BFG DR's but around turns are a little "loose." Don't be caught in the rain with them as they are very dangerous in these conditions. Sam can be said for the BFG DR's. The BFG's hook better than Nitto DR's but are also a little loose like the ET Streets.
The Nitto DR's are a great street/strip tire and handle well and when aired down and heated up with a nice burnout yield good 60ft times. If you drive the car on the street a lot I would get the Nittos. I have them on as daily driver tires rain/shine with no problems or eye opening stories to share from near death rain episodes. Just drive mellow in the rain with them.
I have Nitto DR's on the street and M/T slicks for the track. I have achieved 1.71 60ft times on 245/50/16 Nitto DR's with 18psi in them and have only run the M/T slicks once with a mellow launch and achieved a 1.70 time. With more boost at launch I'm sure 1.50's won't be a problem as long as everything holds up with the slicks.

mt streets
These tires are great... If you are intersted I have a set for sale.. Just trying to get some money to cover the new wheels I bought and I do not plan on draging my car any more. I ran 12.3 with them. Never even heated them up by burnouts. I guess thats why I only got a 1.80 60 foot with them. These are MT ET Streets 10.5 / 16. Fitment is great with my car 1.5 lowered. I paid $353 to Summit to my door. These are in great shape. I can send pics if you are interested. $215 plus shipping. 90% new!

If you're looking for pure strip tires, not going to drive them to the track, then 100% the ET Streets. Your tranny and rear end will hate you, but your grin will overrule them
That's why I don't dragrace the TA anymore, the damn clutch wouldn't hold up to that kind of traction.. Only now are aftermarket clutch vendors able to come up with a clutch package to get the power down.
