AB I need comments on Bronze rims w/ RED RX7.

I just ordered "Bronze DC6 v1 Tenzo 17"x7" rims for my 1992 3rd gen. My FD is RED. Anybody have a idea how the mix of bronze rims will go with my red rx7? I have not seen a red rx7 before with bronze rims on sadly. I was hoping i could get some comments or examples, because i dont know what to expect. Thanks.

This gives us a basic idea, can anyone do any better? Got any comments? The Advan IIIs are currently on it, they are for sale btw.

Why do you want rims that are narrower than stock?

Ya umms i think you made a bad move.

That's a horrible fitment and thinner than stock.

Regardless of color get rid of them and at least order a 17x8, 8.5, or 9

I just got the Tenzo specials faxed to me:

They have some 18x8 but not sure if they even make wider 17's.

not bashing but among the other great questions already asked...why are you asking now? Usually you research before purchasing and I would immediately cancel the order if you can. going from 16x8 to 17x7 is a horrible idea

The order does not get shipped out until April 2nd, Should i go with 18x8? Or should i just drop the whole order.

My suggestion is this:

Cancel your order. This is not a decision you want rushed by a deadline unless it's necessary.

I'm sure the deal will pop up again or I might even be able to facilitate it. I don't work with the product often but have some dealers who do.

There is a plethora of options and you're in one of the best places to find them.

What's your budget for tires and wheels?

Ideally you'll be able to upgrade to a far better fitment. 17" wheels are great, if you can find a 17x8.5 or 17x9.0 I would go that route if on a budget. Limit yourself to those options and you'll be much happier in the end.

The wheels you have on there now seem better than Tenzo wheels. (Yes, the sizes suck).

Please redo the kit.

Here's a pic of my red FD with bronze stock wheel. Bronze and black wheels look awsome on red FDs. But if you take out that front and rear spoiler, a nice set of 18" bronze wheel will look even better. Check out the "Post Pic of your FD" thread on the 3rd Gen section, there's tons of pictures of red FD with different wheels. That's where I got my inspiration for my next set of wheels, now I just need to save up for it and find a set. Good luck with your search.

You should've asked on here or search hard for wheel/tire sizes.
My FC's tires/wheels are wider than your FD

Hey guys, I think this is the order i am going to make on Monday. Any last second comments before i place the order?

Front: 17x8 +42
Rear: 17x9 +45

Reason i am getting this: Perfect size for my tires and body. Anyone got pictures of a RED fd with something like this on?

The question is: ARE THESE THE KIPPER? (Go flames Go) i mean keeper.
