How to remove ABS brake system....
I am putting oversized rotors on my car and was wondering how to remove and bypass the abs system, including the ABS warning light.
Also are there any reasons why i shouldn't remove it???
Thanks in Advance..

Check and see if you have a fuse that will disable the abs and the light at the
same time. You can wire up a relay that you can use to switch the abs on or
off you will also have to wire a seperate one for the abs light to cut power to
it when you have the abs out of the curcuit. I am not familiar with your model
but if it only has a fuse that will kill the servo motor and let you self modulate
the brakes, Ford Ranger(which are mazdas) have a mod to use a relay to kill the
abs and still have the ability to use the abs say if your woman takes the car
out or you feel you need it. Of course many people just reline from the MC and
use a connector to route around the servo motor completely and it is fine but
watch your insurance deny your claim quick if they find out you didn't have the
system even though it was claimed to have it on the policy!!

I thought the 3rd Gen system was pretty good, unlike the crap in my FC. Bigger rotors will make it even easier to lock up; unless you're only driving on the track you should probably keep it.
