Here is what I know (I'll know more after I talk to Bruce at the Runoff's)
Stickier - Yes The SS boys are going about .8 faster at Mid-Ohio (A compound vs A Compound)
Longer lasting: Yes? Have not seen the "new" tread after a couple sessions but the old tread (same as the 03's) still had the fake tread after 4 20 minute sessions.
More sizes?: Not really
Cheaper?: Normal inflation of about 3% will apply
Weight: in our size(s) about 1 extra pound.

Very cool, and there is a new Kumho coming too that is just about the same from what I hear.
I also found this......they should be available for SCCA runoffs:
NEW PRODUCT UPDATE:
SPORTS CAR D.O.T. RADIAL
4-16-03
LAKEVILLE, IN -- Development continues on the next generation D.O.T. approved competition tires for road racing and autocross applications. There has been some public anticipation that the “next generation” Hoosiers were going to be available very soon. This update is intended to clarify the current status of our development process.
While the program is progressing, our timetable is not going to accommodate the April 30, 2003 minimum requirement deadline set forth by SCCA Solo rules. Our intention is to release the most popular sizes first and release other size tires as production and inventory allows. This plan will be executed sometime mid summer and will continue into the fall months with the whole product line change completed, hopefully, by October.

I will be impressed if they get the US DOT to approve a tire with just two tread bands around the circumference of the tire. I just can't seem to believe they will go into public sale labled as a DOT tire with that little amount of grooves. The Formula 1 "slicks" have more grooves in them than the tires posted above.
