H&R Spacer Review FD Wheels On FC
H&R Spacers for FD to FC Wheels
Any one know if this is the correct H&R Wheels spacers to install FD wheels on a FC. If so I want to order a set.
I've seen so many threads on this but no one as clearly documented the part number and the exact specs of whats needed.
If some one can let me know I'll put pics up of the install clearance issues and handling in G's using my G-Tech Pro before and after. All other threads seem to just skate through details.

it took me about 5 minutes on the H&R website to figure this out the other day. they have an application for the 929 that should work perfectly. BTW i can probly hook these up, too....esp. if peopl want to buy a couple sets.

Center Bore
Fd Wheels have a center bore of 67.1mm
FC has 56.1mm
The H&R spacers I am looking at buying is a 5 Lug 114.3 bolt spacing with a center bore of 59.5mm
From what I suspect Part # H&R5065595 will fit but the centering will have to be done by the bolts after they are torqued down unless I can find a centering ring of 11mm.
Comments anyone??

when i had my turbo 2 i adapted fd wheels to it and put over 100,000 smiley miles on the setup. the fd wheels are so light and really work well w the fc.
i did not use centering spacers. i had a bunch of aluminum spacers made and then used what i needed to. i believe i had a 1/2 inch spacer for the rear and about .3 addtl. i don't recall the front but i think it was less. my big challenge was finding longer wheel studs. i finally found them at speedsource in florida. i strongly suggest you not space the wheels further out than needed as you screw up the scrub radius and you won't be happy with the way the car drives.
so...
a very good mod.
no need to center
you'll need to replace all wheel studs

Powermalex:
What size tires do you have there on the fronts and rears... I bought some FD rims off of neofreak and want them to fit...
Also, did you order from that first link in the thread?
edit: Which style did you get? DR, DRA, DRS, DRM ?
Did you have to order anything else?

sweet... I've got 255/45/17s for the back.. They fit without Spacers.. Its going to look hot!
Its going to cut off some of my steering though, eh? What do you think about exchanging the 255s for some 225s and putting the 235s on the back?
