When did the GTS come in 18's... I guess when you special order then you can get almost anysize you want. I have a set of 19's on my Z not 11's but 10.5 with a +18 offset.

Nice choice and enjoy!

Someone who got any ideas on some good tires that wil fit?
I have been looking for som Yokohama ADVAN A048 295/30ZR18.

Other sugestions are welcome, to both front and rear. Im into some good tires, not any Ganszxhqwo and Rûzzia racing tires.
Wet performance are not that important, so slicks are okey, but have to be street legal.

Dam the tires are cheap in the US compared to Norway!
For one Yokohama ADVAN A048 295/30ZR18 on tirerack: 289$
For one Yokohama ADVAN A048 295/30ZR18. at a locale dealer: 737$ (4500 NOK)

The rims look great. I remember when my rims were all new and clean. I felt bad putting my greasy paws all over them. Where did you order the rear flares from?

AWESOME WHEELS man!
I am so glad you ordered up some seriously wicked nice wheels for your widebody FD, hot damn!

I am running 285/30r18 fronts and 295/30r18 rears on my widebody FC this year... in Yokohama Advan Neova.
of course somewhow the AO48 competition tire is cheaper so if youre doing only track days then the AO48 is the tire to use... I would ruin them in a month with the heat cycles of going to work and home every day... so the Neova is the tire for me.

there arent very many good choices of tires in 295/30r18 but the new Hankook Ventus Evo S1 K107 is a good tire with a longer treadlife but still gets good performance reviews and has relatively inexpensive prices, you can get 265/35r18 for the fronts to keep the same O.D. f/r.

nice pics too, hot hot hot stuff!

lol at us flaming you, but see it worked, your car is more badder asser now!

AO48 has hella grip, like some of the highest grip you can get in any tire with anythign resembling tread patterns on it.

I would think there is a chance that just one single drift event on AO48 can heat them up so much that from then on they will be useless for grip. after a lot of heat cycles from daily driving on AO32R mine were dead and hard as a rock without any grip until they got really hot and up to that point of grip they were as slippery as a teenage girl backstage at a justin timberlake concert.

you might drift better on falken fk452 but hell I dunno... doesnt falken have a drift specific tire?

Sure, it worked! First of i had plans to go for some ebay wheels and ended up with some volks..

Maybe i wrote little bit wrong, but i meant that i wil use the AO48 for some grip driving, daily driving (not rain) and maybe for the finals if i get there(drifting).. For normal drifting i use what ever i could find cheapest *** posible.

I dunno on falkens drift tires, they are not fore sale here in norway.. Looks like the got some drift tires, they have many drift cars in the USD1.. Ill check the out.

Joachim

edit: the falken mustang uses: Falken Azenis RT-615, and thats grip tire, not drift. It was only in 295/40R18 and i need 295/30R18.. It was also cheaper.

That +15 offset with 315 tires is what's killing you.

Sweet, It took 6 months for mine to come in but I went with the mercury silver. Mine will be on my FD in two weeks. It's the best looking five spoke I ever saw , and they look so much better in person.
