Talking FINALLYYYY Got My RIMZ!: Kinesis K59R's

Hi,

So after waiting nearly 1 1/2 years for these rims I FINALLLYYYY got them!!! They came in last week and I'm just tooooo excited . I should hopefully have these on the car in 2 weeks. I'll be wrapping them in Michelin Pilot PS2's with the fronts having a 265/30/19 tire and the rears having a 315/25/19 on them.

Wheel Specs: 19x10 Fronts and 19x11's rear. Kinesis K59R's w/paint-matched centers and polished lip.

Later,

Rizwan

Thanks guys . Yup, I have burnout fenders on the car. I'm wrapping the rims with Michelin Pilot PS2's in the Front with 265/30/19's and in the Rear with 315/25/19.

RX007 - Give me a week or so and I'll get back to you with the offset numbers. I have to find the paper with the numbers on it and also since the offsets aren't proven I'm a little hesitant to give them out yet. Don't want anyone to run into issues on my account. I will get back to you for sure though, don't worry .

Nice! Sorta' remind me of the black Professor SP1s but slightly thinner spokes. I love the polished-lip look!

Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments. I'm hoping to have the rims on by next week and snap some pictures with my buddies SLR (camera not car).

l8z kid: The rims are really expensive. I don't want to say how much, but you could always just look up the style I chose and price them out for yourself if you're that interested in knowing.

If you don't have $5k to drop on a set of wheels....don't ask.

Nice wheels str8ryd, I'll be curious to see how the fitment works out.

Yeah, wheels be expensive. those will look freakin pimp on your 7. If i got the wheels that I wanted for mine they would run about 4 grand. PLUS the spacer so i could make em fit. but then, they are HRE 3 piece forged wheels...so that probably makes a difference.

But yeah, those look freakin sick, hope to see pics soon!

Hey, Thanks again Rynberg. I used your recommendation for offsets as my basis and then together with Kinesis made some slight adjustments accordingly. I REALLY REALLY hope they clear w/out too much trouble. I went a little bit conservative just to be sure. Hopefully everything works out .

Good luck my man. I had a tough time squeezing my 315s PS2s in the rear wells with the burnouts flares and RE arms, so I went with custom metal work to extend my stock fenders/liners instead (also wanted to keep an OEM look and retain structural integrity). You are going to need to completely trim the lips off of the flares and even then it's going to be a tight squeeze. So tight in fact that wheel well clearance becomes an issue.

Also, make sure that the wheel shop does not clamp wheel weights to the inside lip of the wheel because you are going to need all the clearance you can get. I hope your offsets are ***** on.

Good luck and nice wheels ;

Robert

just curious. why is there such a difference in the width between your rear (315) and fronts (265). does that affect performance at all?

btw, your wheels look very nice. i almost got kinesis too, but ended up with ccw. can't wait to see pics.
