Fikse FM/10s
#2
Nothing wrong with those rims...light and strong.. I like them better than Fm/5 which has a tendency to crack...The standard finish is not as "bling" as others but it still looks very good. 17's are reasonable priced..but as with most things goes up very much when you talk about 18's...
Dont see them much on FD's....I've seen them plenty of time on Porsches .. anyways I almost got them for my FD, but I that last second decided to go with Kinesis...(which was always the rims I wanted)

I dont know what Rishie pricing on Kinesis would be...but they should be around the same price as Fiske...
18's are expensive...I only went with Kinesis because I like their 18" wheels...If I decided to stay with 17's I would have got FM/10's without a doubt. Rishie is doing a GB with Kinesis at the moment, so whatever the price is I dont think it will get much lower than now. My list for the wheels I got run 900-1000 per..not what a paid, but give you a ballbark
One to think about...if you want custom finishes or reverse lip on kinesis wheels, get ready to spend even more...for instance the "R" reverse lip series is +$150 per rim and any polishing is rough +$100/per also.

Wrong, if you're a forum member you should see me. We will offer the guys the best price, plus PFS isn't gonna help out with the forum and if they are, it's too late. I've taken the spot.
That's list price on the 17,8.5's and 9.0's.
I think all the gentleman here know where to go. I don't see PFS up here helping me out with fitments and dedicating time to the forum.
Thanks, Rishie
We don't publicly display prices, but we do have a low price guarantee and empasize taking advantage of your forum membership.

Yeah, we're lucky to have a company like Fikse provide us with special pricing. It's a great thing. Call Fikse and see what they will price it out for you and then call me to see what the discount can do for you. Their list prices aren't far from what PFS charges.

Dang, Rishie those FM-10s LOOK SO GOOD on a RED FD!!!!!
If I were doing wheels/tires again, I'd do FIKSE FM-10 in 9 x 17 front 44 mm offset, and 10 x 17 rear, 37-mm offset!
If you wanted to preserve the FD's pristinely neutral handling, then I'd go with the 9 x 17, 44 mm offsets all the way around with the 255/40-17s all around.
Tire sizes for the first setup? 255/40-17 front, and 265/40-17 rear.
Tire Brand? None other than Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...+Pole+Position
Ahh, the benefit of hindsight...
Have fun and good luck with the Fikses!!

Why do you suggest the second setup? What kind of handling would that first setup give comparitively?
I still don't understand the world of offsets and all. I know what it is, but am clueless how to pick what I want. What if I wanted those Fm/10's in 17" and wanted them to sit farily flush with the edge of the wheel well (for looks)? Where do you begin figuring that out? Is that doable, while still maintaining good handling?
Turbos and management are so much easier to understand than tires and rims :p
