FC front tire/wheel fitment (MAX)
With my stock suspension, can I fit a 235/40/17 tire on a 17x8 rim with + 35 mm offset on the front without the tire rubbing on teh shock?
Or do i need to get 2.5 inch OD springs (ie K2RD or Ground COntrol/JIC/ etc etc) to accomplish 235 fitment?
Thanks.
Rishie, i know u know the answer so cough up the secret.

You know my setup and it doesn't rub... You can do lots of things to better your tight fitment....2-5mm spacers, camber plates, buzz that bur off the shock casting will help alot...
I had those OZ 17 x 8's and the 235 rub'd a little bit with a 40mm offset....it rub'd so minor though.....anyway
Now I have 1 more inch and a 35mm offset which will make the wheel go outwards, then I tip'd the wheel 1 deg. NEG. with no spacer...Spacer shouldn't be an issue.... I'm buying some coilovers so hopefuly I that won't be an issue
