FC aggressive wheel offset?

I'm looking for some wheels for my FC (5 lug) and looking for some real aggressive setups.

Staggered preferably, 17's, but you can persuade me 16's are the hotness.

Lets see what ya got.

So far im considering the 5zigen FN901
but I'm wanting to see others as well.

Yes I searched, but I havent seen any FC aggressive wheel threads in particular.

hmmm, the FR500's look pretty good on the FC.

I just ordered the new "hot version" 5zigen FN01's yesterday. 17x10 rear 17x8 front. Gonna be sweet.

suspension wise I got
KYB AGX shocks with Drop Zone sleeve coilovers
cusco camber plates
Suspension Technique sways and adj endlinks
CP front and rear strut bars
Fighters Garage rear camber link

I'm waiting for the wheels and tires to arrive before I do any of it. I want to take a weekend and do it all at once.

pretty sure I'm gonna have to roll the rear fenders but Fighters Garage is gonna let me use their Eastwood fender roller to get the job done.

at the drag strip, they spin a bit in 2nd, hop in 3rd, and chirp 4th. on the street, they spin up if i stomp it in 2nd, but 3rd holds just fine. i never really shift hard enough on the street to break them loose like they do at the strip.
btw they are BFG G-Force TA KD's. pretty dang sticky compared to most street tires.

what offset did you order? tires?
whethor or not you need to pull the fenders will depend on the tire and offset choice, not so much the wheel width.
if you are gonna pull your rear fenders.. take it slow! slow and steady wins the race. its not hard to crease the sheetmetal on the backside of the wheel arch, and thats just ugly. good luck!

i was just kidding. lighten up man. anyway yah- cheap *** mustang wheels. i dont have a problem admitting i paid 400 bucks for a 17x9/10.5 setup with a perfect offset. i'm all for a good deal. if kia wheels made a good upgrade to an FC, i'd use them too.

the offsets are 17x8 in the front and a 17x10 in the rear, not sure on the offsets, had my local shop spec them out. They've done a couple sets before for the FC and told them to order the same offset as before...it worked before and looked very good. Running 225s in the front and 245s in the rear. The rears will be slightly stretched but nothing crazy. Should help clear the fenders a bit. I'm gonna roll the fenders but dont think I'll have to "pull" them any. But if I do, the Eastwood fender roller should do the trick, slow and steady like you said. We'll see.

Wheels are on back order til end of May/early June supposably so it wont be anytime "soon" til the install. But I'm glad to finally have them on order.

I'm assuming +35 front and rear, which should be just fine with those tire sizes. you might not need any pulling at all, just fold the inner lip up (rear will be close)

yeah, I was thinking we said +35 rear and +25 front, but I didnt wanna open my mouth and look like a toolbag so early in my posting experience, lol.

Those FR500's still got me lookin though, lol. Maybe I'll come across a set "Cheap/used" sometime and get me a second set of wheels, lol.

You wont need any rolling with that wheel /tire combo in the rear (10" wheel, 35mm offset, 245 section tire). I run a 9.5, 35mm offset wrapped in a 265 with no clearance issues at all. That 10" wheel will be awfully close to the trailing arm though :O You actually could probly get away with a 255 and still not need to roll them.

hmmmm, thats good to know. Guess we'll be doin trial fitment before I get the roller from the shop. Thats good to know. I'm hoping with the slight stretch the 245 will have that there will be no clearance issues, but the roller will be on standby just in case.
